sushi swap
last night my lab 9 peach and berry crisp, golden and crumbly to perfection, went to the lab 6 defilers of sushi for a culinary swap last night. is that fair? maybe I’m just a sushi snob. and while i may not be adventurous in the i-eat-live-eel-and-fugu* variety, there is something to be said for fresh fish, and good flavor. i regret to say that student sushi is nothing like the perfect slices of aquatic goodness I would expect from budding professionals. have they never eaten sushi before?! for the sake of all that is good, eat a cut roll and mimic if you’re that clueless.
*fugu: blow fish.
